ECPM Campaign Launch

The members of the European Parliament affiliated with the ECPM, board members, Sallux and the ECPYouth gathered in Brussels for the official kick-off to the election campaign. Each of the MEPs shared their campaign priorities, their challenges and victories so far. They were then presented with the Political Manifesto of the ECPM which was finalized and adopted in December 2023.

Maarten van de Fliert, ECPM’s Secretary General, then spoke about the campaign strategy and about focusing on three major themes in our events and projects with our members across Europe:

Van de Fliert also informed the audience present about the European Code of Conduct to which ECPM is now signatory party and he highlighted our commitment to running an honest and ethical campaign and to safeguarding the integrity of elections.

The ECPYouth had the opportunity to speak about their activities and own campaign and to present their manifesto and the Christian Changemakers program.

The event concluded with our think-tank and foundation- Sallux- launching their newest publication on migration trends from Africa.
