In Remembrance of October 7

Today marks two years since the horrific terrorist attack of October 7, in which 1,200 Israelis were killed and 250 taken hostage by Hamas terrorists. We continue to grieve with the loved ones of those who lost their lives that day and since. The hostages still in captivity must be returned immediately to their homes and families.

In Remembrance of October 7

The war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas that has since erupted has caused far too much death and suffering, with a death toll exceeding 60,000. Its continuation is a grave violation of human dignity for all affected. ECPP calls upon Hamas to return the remaining hostages and to lay down its arms. We also call upon the Israeli authorities to refrain from further violence and to treat civilians with human dignity.

ECPP is hopeful about the ongoing peace talks and urges that human dignity remain at their core.

Valeriu Ghilețchi, ECPP President:

“The atrocities and suffering of October 7 and the war that followed have left deep wounds in Israel, Gaza, and across the Middle East. ECPP stands with the remaining hostages and all victims of the war. We pray for peace and the restoration of human dignity. We are hopeful that the ongoing negotiations and President Trump’s peace plan will bring sustainable peace to the Middle East.”
